The restaurant itself sits on a 30×20 lot, elevated slightly in the traditional Japanese way of life. Two small seating areas, with fountains beneath Japanese Maple Trees flank the restaurants’ entrance way. While lanterns hang merrily above, leading to the street. Up the center walkway is a Zen garden of sorts with stone lanterns lighting the way, small fountains embedded in the sand spitting water merrily towards the sky.
Once you reach the podium, the bar is off to the left hand side, the kitchen to the right. But what makes this restaurant unique are the small alcoves that hold either two twin tables to accommodate 4 , or one large table that accommodates four. Hanging banner flags adorn the open shoji paneled archways to give you a nearly private dining experience.
The staff, is dressed in traditional Japanese apparel. And no, you do not have to remove your shoes upon entry because that would not be sanitary. (even in a game, just ew.) The menu, also is traditionally (or almost all) traditionally Japanese, mainly sushi, ramen and onigiri.
