This Pistachio Cake is a luxurious, hence the gourmet category, sponge cake flavoured with pistachio. Here it’s made in a somewhat Sicilian-inspired slant, in that it’s coated with the nuts on the outside, though it doesn’t have nuts on the inside like the traditional recipe.
Notes:
– Must be baked as whole cake (you can’t bake a single slice of cake)
– Vegetarian-safe.
– Optional SCCO Baking ingredients, and icemunmun pistachio (food can still be cooked without)
