Diwali is the festival of lights, it lasts for several days. During this festival, one thing among many that’s done is to make or share sweets. While there are many others that are shared, Pista (Pistachio) Barfi and Badam (Almond) Laddu are the two I made this year.
Pista Barfi Notes:
Pista barfi is a sweet made up of ground almonds and pistachios, cardamom, some kind of milk and syrup. The dry ingredients are added to the syrup and then cooked until boiling, the mixture is then allowed to set in a tray until it’s solid, and then cut into pieces to eat.
– It has all three meal sizes (8 servings, 4 servings and single serving)
– Vegetarian-safe.
– Optional icemunmun pistachio, almond, soya flour and cardamom and SCCO any sugar (can be cooked without)
