Middle Eastern dessert made with shredded filo pastry soaked in syrup (often rose water syrup), this mixture is layered with cheese and topped with pistachios. This is then baked until it’s crispy on the outside but is melty on the inside.
Notes:
– Must be prepared as full cake, then the sim will cut it into slices (you can’t bake a slice on its own, after all)
– Vegetarian-safe.
– Optional SCCO dairy, icemunmun pistachio, and EA lemon ingredients (food can still be cooked without)
