Do you know what makes a Victorian so pricy? The CLUTTER! A while ago I watched a documentary about the history of rooms and how they changed through the eras. And the wonderful historian and host explained, that the Victorians loved their clutter. They would collect tacky figurines, artificial flowers and all kinds of things made of porcelain or glass and cram their homes with it. And when they had people over, they showed off all their decorative belongings. So I thought, that’s what will make a Victorian house realistic: ADD ALL THE CLUTTER!
So this Dark Gothic Victorian will fill all your cluttery needs. Even though it’s striving days are over, it’s walls are crumbling and with wet spots here and there, it’s still a cozy home for your supernaturals. In my imagination, it is home to a very intelligent witch who is into botany and making potions. She’s living with another witch, who is more into the dark arts and practicing spells to win duels. But they keep a secret to the witch community in Glimmerbrook, because they have another roommate, a vampire, who set up a domicile in the basement and preferably picks up beautiful women – and men. ‚Hey, was that Caleb Vatore in our vestibule?‘
