Level 2: Children’s Hospital Student Volunteer
Description:
Volunteers are an important part of the patient experience. Through their gifts of time, talent, and compassion, volunteers help sick and injured children and their families have the best experience possible under their circumstances. As a student, you also gain valuable experience!

Level 3: Child Life Practicum Student
Description:
A Child Life Practicum is an observation of hospitalized children alongside a child life specialist. The goal of this program is to familiarize the student with the hospital environment and help they connect what they’ve been learning in the classroom to real-life experiences.

Level 4: Child Life Intern
Description:
The Child Life Internment allows graduates to develop their clinical skills. This internship gives students the opportunity to have a hands-on approach and learn child life skills.

Level 5: Child Life Specialist
Description:
You finally finished your internship and you are officially a Child Life Specialist! You can now help patients and family members express and work through their concerns in the hospital environment.
