The Wayward Principality is based upon the angel Aziraphale, who was the garden of the Eastern Gate of Eden. The Earth-Native Demon is based upon his best friend and cohort, the demon and Serpent of Eden, Crowley. It is a mixture of their personalities from both then book and the mini series.
