Shut Up!: No Autonomous Discuss Local Fishing Spots cures this. Sims will never again discuss these fishing spots autonomously. The option is still there in case you actually want to know, but you have to pick it yourself.

God, I need this mod like eating … I hate how heavy they are with so much talk about Fishing .., I even dislike the Fishing ability on my sims!
